Meet Baby Rasmussen!!
.jpg)
Oh how wonderful babies are! Eric and Arwen gifted Clare and Scott with Grandparentship this 27th day of March in the year 2008. What a Grand Child he is!! Please share in the joy of welcoming Gordon Bradley Rasmussen as the next in line to inherit the Gisvold spirit of life. We share this precious gift, only hours old, in the attached photos. Congratulations Eric and Arwen!

Thanks Anne for giving a resume of your trip to Fla. The kids (and you) will have some great memories!
Thanks for the pictures Ellen!! Needed to record the animal participants! Maybe next Easter "we" will have to come up with another activity + eggs for the "growing up" young ones!!!
Hope there is some warmer weather soon!
Love to all, Mom

Anne & Kids spring break
Hello family, We had a really great time in Florida!! The weather was great, only one day of humidty; otherwise in the low 80's. The drive through Milwaukee was a bit stressful for me, but we made it to the airport without getting lost. Matthew had got to watch the comings & goings of planes and ground crews. Then he got to go into the cockpit in 3 of the 4 planes we were all together. Marya was just alittle too "hysterical" on the first take off. I'm sure the other passengers were amused! This was also the first time either of the kids got sunburned - even with sunscreen on. We went to Sannibel for shelling, went to the Edison/Ford estates, went to Bowditch reserve (tip of the island-the same place the girls took their really long walk too), and an everglades tour that included several stops to see other places of nature & animals, plus we hung out on "our" beach & at the pool. The kids got to see high tide & low tide, among many other sights. They also held 2 sizes of baby alligators! The airboat ride in the Everglades was fun, but we didn't get to stand on the end like the detective on CSI Miami, & we didn't go through the tall grasses; we went through the mangrove forests/islands. So much fun. The delay to home was quite disappointing to all of us; but at least we made it home in one piece without loosing our luggage. Hope to see every one soon, Anne P.S. picture posting will come at another time.

Florida-Jan. 2008

Hey Everyone! I'm finally getting some entries on the blog...let's start with the sister/Mom trip to Florida. We had a great time in Fort Myers Beach. The top pic and bottom pic are on a beach on Sanibel Island which is just north of Fort Myers Beach. The middle pic is of the hotel we stayed in.
Top pic: We were busy 'shelling' and Anne didn't see the mini tidal wave coming and got splashed...oops.
Middle pic: Our first morning there we went on a long, long walk on the beach. Never mind that Mom had a broken tail bone and was in excrutiating pain...just walk it off Mom, just walk it off!
She had to use a wheel chair the rest of the trip...only kidding.
Bottom pic: While shelling and relaxing on the beach, I innocently threw a Goldfish cracker at the one gull that was hanging around. Within 12 seconds, there were hundreds of gulls wishing they could have a Goldfish cracker!
